Frequently asked questions
How do two people play on one device?
Connect a game controller, then choose Duo on the main screen. Player 1 plays with touch (or a second controller) and Player 2 plays with the controller. The Duo option appears as soon as iOS recognizes a controller.
How do we play on two iPhones?
Choose Nearby on both iPhones. One player chooses Host and the other Join. Keep the phones close to each other with Wi-Fi turned on (you don't need to be on the same network). If they can't find each other, check that Settings › Privacy & Security › Local Network is on for Piki & Max on both phones.
Which controllers work?
Any controller that iOS recognizes, such as Xbox, PlayStation and MFi controllers, connected by Bluetooth or cable. Pair it first in Settings › Bluetooth.
How do I change the difficulty or the language?
Open the game's Settings (the gear on the main screen). There you can choose Explorer or Adventurer, English or Español, and adjust sound, vibration and screen shake.
Is the game free?
Level 1 and its boss are free. A one-time purchase unlocks Levels 2–5, their bosses and the ending, for good. There are no ads and no other purchases.
I bought the full game. How do I get it on another device, or after reinstalling?
Open the game's Settings and tap Restore Purchases (it's also on the unlock screen). Use the same Apple Account you bought it with.
Is my progress shared between my devices?
Yes, if you're signed in to iCloud on both: your level records sync automatically. Without iCloud, progress stays on the device, and deleting the App erases it. You can reset a level's records in Settings.
Where are achievements and leaderboards?
Sign in to Game Center in your device's Settings. Then tap the Game Center button in the corner of the game's main menu to see your achievements and each level's leaderboard.
How is my privacy protected?
We don't collect personal information. See our Privacy Policy.
